Assembly Technician / Mechanic

MARQ Packaging, a local manufacturing company with more than 50 years of operation has immediate, full time openings for Assembly and Service Technicians. Positions open range from entry level to skilled technicians. Must be a team player accustomed to working in a cooperative, team environment with a willingness to learn new skills. Position could require travel, foreign and domestic. Average of 25% travel time for service techs. Service techs need to be able to work with clients for service and training needs

Requirement
- Minimum education HS Diploma / GED
- Math skills, ability to read a tape measure, mechanical skills are a must.

Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform quality checks on assembled parts to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as needed.
- Utilize ohmmeter to test electrical components for proper functioning.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.

Other:
- Skilled mechanic in Packaging and or Food Processing machinery.
- Skilled in Electronics & PLC troubleshooting
- Experience with pneumatics.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
