Assistant Manager Duties
Assisting Manager in making sure the backroom is cleared out of deliveries from current / previous day by giving direction to staff
Assist in making sure all new products receive a proper shelf spot
Beer, Wine, Liquor, Accessories, etc.
Recognize and assist on cash register when needed
Showing a presence on the floor and actively engaging / assisting customers
Making sure employees are being held accountable and provide necessary guidance to keep them on track.
Assist in checking in deliveries
Help Maintain stores overall appearance (whether it is performing the task yourself or directing an employee to assist)
Fixing displays
Packing out shelves
Making sure everything is properly tagged
Cleanliness of store
i. Bottles dusted
ii. Floors swept
Understand that you are a role model for the employees and need to set an example.
staying off your cell phone
stepping up when needed by showing you will fix the displays, pack stuff out, not just walking around the store giving orders.
Not only holding the employees accountable, but holding yourself accountable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
