Overview:
We are an expanding small, rural, client-focused law firm and we are expanding and seeking an Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing individual who enjoys direct contact with clients and will have experience in real estate (residential and commercial) from contract to closing ; estate planning documents; and probate matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to grow with our firm on a partnership track. There is opportunity for this individual to grow the law firm and to practice in additional areas of the law.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients.
- Draft legal documents such as agreements, closing documents, estate planning documents, and probate petitions.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
