Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with a Wisconsin license to practice law or the ability to obtain licensure within three months. The ideal candidate will be involved in a diverse range of legal matters, providing support to senior attorneys while also managing their own caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
Assist in discovery and prepare for trial, including preparing witnesses and exhibits.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Participate in client meetings and contribute to case strategy discussions.
Stay updated on legal developments and changes in relevant law.
Manage a caseload with guidance from senior attorneys, ensuring timely and efficient case management.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Wisconsin Bar or ability to secure admission within three months.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Prior experience in litigation or transactional law is a plus, but not required.
Compensation: Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
