Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of family law cases from intake to resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Advise clients on their legal rights and options.
Maintain accurate and organized case files.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide excellent client service.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in West Virginia and/or Ohio.
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.
Experience in litigation and family law are preferred.
Compensation, Bonus, and Benefits:
Salary : $60,000 - $90,000 base salary per year, depending on credentials and experience, and subject to negotiation upon successful interview.
Bonus : Opportunities for non-discretionary bonus pay in addition to base salary depending on performance.
Benefits : Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and 401(k) offered after a 90-day probationary period.
