Expanding and well-known Criminal Defense firm serving Southern California has an immediate need for a self-motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Associate attorney experienced in DUI and Criminal Defense and Restraining Orders. Responsibilities:
Maintain regular communication with our clients throughout their criminal process.
Investigate the circumstances of their cases, including, but not limited to legal research, reviewing discovery, and interviewing witnesses.
Prepare legal motions as needed to protect our clients' rights.
Negotiate with the prosecutors to get the charge(s) against our clients dismissed or reduced.
Represent our clients in court for all pre-trial hearings, preliminary hearings as well as at trial.
Argue in court for a favorable sentence if our clients are convicted of a crime.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Criminal Defense attorney, Public Defender, or Prosecutor.
Must be a team player and be able to practice in a structured environment.
Extremely detail oriented and highly organized.
Self-motivated that is proactive and has initiative.
Strong work ethic and very dependable.
Works well under pressure and able to multi-task
Experience handling preliminary hearing appearances and trials
Since there will be extensive new and current client contact, the successful candidate must possess outstanding attorney-client relation skills.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
