The successful candidate will have 7-10 years with experience doing personal injury litigation and capable of taking depositions, writing briefs, and managing cases.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Job Responsibilities:
Handle personal injury case files from start to finish, including client contact, reviewing medical records, drafting complaint, answering discovery, taking depositions
Comfortable drafting complaints, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, other pleadings, and other legal documents
Ability to perform legal research and review medical records
Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, fact witnesses and medical providers to gather information and take depositions of same individuals
Argue discovery and dispositive motions
Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system
Work one on one with paralegals assigned to files
Special projects and duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree is required
Pennsylvania law license is mandatory
7-10 years of experience in personal injury litigation
A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, products liability law
Superb research and writing skills
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time, Pay: $150,000 to $175,000
