The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation, family law, or business law firm team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious attorney to join a law firm focused on providing top-notch legal services while managing a work-life balance for our team. You will work directly with experienced partners who are leaders in their field, receiving hands-on mentorship and support to grow your practice.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities will vary depending on the legal practice aligning with the Attorney's skillset.
Conduct complex legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law.
Draft, review, and revise essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Manage a dynamic caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials; work on family law cases, or help business clients navigate the legal framework affecting their business.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by communicating clearly, compassionately, and professionally.
Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and paralegals on case strategy and development.
What You Bring:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing of the Iowa, Nebraska, and/or South Dakota Bar or eligible for admission.
Experience in litigation, family law, or business law, or relevant litigation experience.
Superior communication, research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a demanding caseload.
A client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
