Requirements to work as a truck/van assembly worker is a high school diploma or a GED - a college degree is not required. Physical agility and the stamina to perform repetitive work is of great importance in this work. Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs utilizing body strength and lifting aids. Since you will be working in a team environment, it is imperative that you are able to get along with people, and handle stress successfully. Since a truck/van assembly line is usually a moving one, it is best if you are someone who can be on his feet all the time. A sense of urgency and the ability to work quickly and efficiently are important in this work.
As a truck/van assembly worker, you will need to be hands-on in reading and understanding schematics, and using specific machinery for assembly work.
A valid driver's license is required.
Experience:
ASE Certification (Preferred)
Ford-Certified (Preferred)
Automotive mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen requirements
