Job Summary
The Treasury Associate Manager plays a key role in overseeing the company's treasury operations, including vendor payments, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, debt and loan management, and corporate finance compliance. This position requires independent judgment, financial analysis, and discretion in managing activities critical to the company's financial operations. The role collaborates closely with senior leadership and external financial institutions to ensure optimal cash utilization and compliance with financial obligations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy, authorization, and compliance with company policies.
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, optimizing timing based on vendor terms and cash position.
Maintain vendor records and banking details within SAP or related ERP system.
Develop and maintain monthly cash flow forecasts segmented by operational categories and report them to HQ.
Present monthly cash position and variance reports to headquarters; if additional funding is required, communicate the need and prepare the supporting documentation.
Manage daily bank reconciliations and promptly investigate discrepancies with the Sales team.
Manage relationships with banking partners and negotiate to improve fee structures.
Oversee short-term and long-term loan schedules and ensure compliance with financial covenants.
Calculate and post interest income and expense entries on a monthly basis.
Manage execution of loan repayments, interest payments, and withholding tax filings to IRS.
Ensure timely extension of loan maturities and maintain up-to-date loan documentation.
Support share issuance transactions and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.
Lead treasury-related components of the month-end close process, including journal entries and reporting.
Assess credit risk of accounts receivable and coordinate with sales to address delinquent accounts.
Prepare loan, debt, and treasury compliance reports for internal leadership and HQ.
Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing payments, managing liquidity, and escalating risk matters.
Recommend and implement improvements to treasury procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Master's degree is preferred.
Language Requirement: Korean/English bilingual.
Minimum 4 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or corporate finance.
CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment and make data-driven financial decisions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
Working knowledge of GAAP and treasury controls.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
