Locum Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity in West Burlington, IA

Join the dedicated team at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center as a Locum Interventional Cardiologist. This facility offers a comprehensive range of services, dedicated to providing quality cardiovascular care. The practice setting includes inpatient responsibilities, call duties, and outpatient clinic work, ensuring a fulfilling and dynamic professional environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient care and perform interventional cardiology procedures.
• Conduct clinic sessions Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Share weekday and weekend call duties with other providers in rotation.
• Manage an average of 15-18 clinic patients per day.
• Collaborate with other interventional cardiologists during the coverage period.
• Utilize Cerner documentation system, with a transition to Epic scheduled for June 2026.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (REQUIRED).
• Active Iowa license or eligibility for IMLC (LOQ needed at time of presentation) (REQUIRED).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (REQUIRED).
• Self Query NPDB at time of presentation (REQUIRED).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Iowa medical license or IMLC eligibility.
• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
