Overview:
Join our team as a Locum CRNA in Lansing, Michigan, and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care at our Endoscopy Center. This position offers a stable, weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional patient care in a specialized setting. As an independent practitioner, you will manage an average of 10-16 cases daily, supporting adult and geriatric patients through monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for endoscopic procedures. This opportunity is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking a dependable assignment in a respected healthcare environment.

Required Skills:

• Current valid CRNA certification and state licensure in Michigan
• Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience, with proficiency in MAC anesthesia for endoscopic procedures
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EGD, colonoscopy, and biopsies procedures
• Prior experience in outpatient or ambulatory surgical settings
• Knowledge of sedation protocols for adult and geriatric populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master s degree or higher in Nursing Anesthesia or related field
• Prior locum or temporary anesthesia coverage experience highly desirable
• Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing timeframe estimated at 60-120 days
• Mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate
• Orientation provided at half the hourly rate
• The position run from January 2026 through summer 2026
• Compensation at $187.60 per hour, with holiday pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate and conversion rate applicable
