Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to personal injury law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. Excellent salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including trials, hearings, arbitrations and mediations.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with precision and clarity.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
Stay updated on changes in laws relevant to practice areas to ensure comprehensive representation.
Requirements
Admission to Rhode Island and Massachusetts bars required.
Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of trial procedures and rules of evidence.
Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence effectively.
Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
