Our practice is committed to delivering effective, client-focused representation. We are seeking an attorney who can resolve claims and confidently represent clients in Court. Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience in debt collection litigation, from initial case assessment through resolution. Knowledge of NRS 604.A and the case management system CLS are significant strengths in an applicant. A basic understanding of creditor rights is expected. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, a sense of camaraderie, and the ability to work collaboratively with our legal team. It offers the opportunity to advance professionally and acquire legal and litigation skills applicable across all areas of civil litigation. Must be licensed in Nevada.
Responsibilities
Handle debt collection matters by reviewing and drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery. Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Represent clients in court hearings and settlement negotiations.
Provide legal advice and develop effective case strategies for clients.
Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines.
Ensure compliance with state and federal debt collection laws.
Qualifications
Active Nevada law license in good standing (required).
Experience in debt collection, creditor rights, or related civil litigation preferred.
Strong negotiation and courtroom skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Professional demeanor and commitment to client service.
Compensation
DOE (Depending on Experience) Competitive with the market.
