Data Cabling & Audio Visual - AV technician.
ATI is looking for an experienced Data Cabling & A/V technician. We are a commercial audio/video integrator with proven success in the design, installation and maintenance of the latest technology that the A/V industry has to offer. Candidates must demonstrate experience completing technical installation and management of audiovisual systems, including equipment rack fabrication, site preparation, termination and calibration of audio visual equipment. This includes experience installing and commissioning control systems and DSP's. Technician must be able to trouble-shoot and diagnose complex technical issues. Candidates must display a customer service attitude and work well with a team.
Required skills and abilities
Additional Experience as Audio Visual Technician, Audio Visual installation engineer, AV Technician, or background from audio production will also be considered.
Experience in installation and commissioning of AV systems
Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control
Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including; pulling cable, terminating cable, soldering, and mounting projectors, screens and displays
Ability to setup, test, calibrate and commission equipment and devices as required to produce fully functional systems. This includes video displays, display systems, screens, cameras, switchers, scalers, processors, transmitters, receivers, interfaces, microphones, mixers, amplifiers, controls, and other active and passive devices.
Crestron & Extron installation experience preferred
Audio DSP experience preferred
Ability to manage small to medium projects
Ability to work and think independently while ensuring to meet deadlines
Self-starter, self-motivated, and a dependable team player
Must have basic cabling and termination tools.
Overnight travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
