Aging in Maine (A Practice of Kevin W. Weatherbee Law Offices, PLLC) - Estate Planning Associate Attorney

It is all about the Clients and the aging population of Maine experiencing dynamic and impactful changes. Aging in Maine ("AIM" - What's YOUR AIM?) is a small Central Maine Law Firm with office in Hermon (near Bangor) focusing on working with a diverse Statewide client community in the areas of Estate Planning, Trusts and Estates, Mainecare Planning, Probate practice and Business Planning. Our primary focus is Estate Planning "for the rest of us." We are experiencing solid year-on-year growth and we seek an Associate Attorney to join our team full-time. Good things can happen. Practice succession is encouraged for the right candidate.

An ideal candidate would have familiarity in one or more of the below practice areas and/or a demonstrable willingness to focus on long-term growth and learning. Civil practice skills focusing on Probate and familiarity with 18-B and 18-C M.R.S.A. are desirable. Most importantly, the candidate should be personable, affable, creative, self-motivated, communicative and able to converse with a broad range of clientele and make ethically focused decisions. The candidate should be able to take direction and advice from our Principal and be a working part of a moderately fast-paced people-focused environment. Our Clients are paramount. We are looking for someone talented who desires growth, stability and who would play a key role in expanding our client-oriented practice. A solid practitioner with a desire to focus on Clients and constant continuing education and expansion of knowledge is the key to success.

An attorney with experience and a willingness to adapt and stay in one place may find this opportunity the perfect fit. A candidate willing to consider an equity position or succession with the desire to focus practice would be most efficacious. However, we will consider a recent graduate who demonstrates a desire to work and grow quickly with the firm.

We seek permanency and will strive to make it so.
