Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, mechanical knowledge, and a solid background in facilities management. This role is critical in ensuring that our facilities operate efficiently and safely while adhering to industry standards.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance management, HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance.
Oversee the implementation and use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, particularly concerning high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
Lead projects related to facility improvements, including project management from conception to completion.
Develop and maintain schematics for facility layouts and equipment installations.
Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
Collaborate with external vendors for specialized services as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory management.
Experience
Proven experience in facilities management or a related field is essential.
Strong background in managing programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems is preferred.
Supervising experience with a focus on leadership in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with mechanical systems, industrial maintenance practices, and maintenance management principles is required.
Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
