Field Service Technician
Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with mechanical systems and helping customers? Join our team as a Field Service Technician and take your skills on the road-domestically and internationally!
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair equipment issues with minimal supervision.
Work directly with customers, engineers, and manufacturers to resolve problems.
Review service requests and respond quickly to equipment failures or start-up needs.
Collaborate with team members and agents to implement solutions.
Create sketches or drawings to support customer needs and coordinate with engineering for special designs.
Keep detailed records of service activities and submit trip reports.
Travel regularly to customer sites to supervise installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Enter service orders and ensure accurate billing for time and parts.
Support product development and assist with parts department operations as needed.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong mechanical aptitude; knowledge of electrical controls is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and navigate CAD drawings.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business software.
Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Able to work in various environments, including outdoor and industrial settings.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time, including international trips.
Flexible schedule with potential for overtime and overnight stays.
Must follow all safety protocols on job sites.
Valid U.S. passport (or ability to obtain within 45 days).
TWIC card and ability to travel internationally without restrictions, including to Canada and Mexico.
