Position Type: Full-Time Locum-to-Perm Physician Gastroenterology
Exciting Locum-to-Perm Gastroenterology opportunity at a well-established hospital in Des Moines, IA. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage with strong long-term potential.
Hospital-based coverage
ERCP required; EUS highly preferred
Perform 3 4 outpatient procedures per day, along with inpatient procedures and consults
Adult-only practice
EMR: Cerner
Application/credentialing fees are not reimbursed
All providers must sign an attestation form confirming interest in permanent placement
Must be interested in Locum-to-Perm
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency) Required
Active IA License or IMLC Required
ACLS Required
Inpatient coverage experience Required
ERCP Required
EUS Highly Preferred
COVID Vaccine Required
Clean malpractice/background Required
Start: October 2025 ongoing
24-hour call coverage (7a 7a)
Orientation and call-back included
Holiday pay at 1.5x rate
