Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and academic achievement. This role requires a strong foundation in various subjects, including Math and Science, with a focus on innovative teaching methods such as Montessori principles. The teacher will also support students with special educational needs, ensuring that all learners receive the attention and resources they require to succeed.
Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Educate students in subjects such as Molecular Biology, Trigonometry, and Math, using hands-on activities and real-world applications.
Conduct scientific research projects that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
Provide individualized support to students with special education needs, adapting instructional methods as necessary.
Facilitate classroom discussions that promote inquiry-based learning and student engagement.
Assess student progress through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and support staff to create a supportive educational environment.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area; teaching certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of Molecular Biology, Trigonometry, Math, and other relevant subjects.
Experience in scientific research or laboratory settings is a plus.
Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is desirable.
Ability to calculate and analyze data effectively for educational purposes.
Experience working with special education students is highly valued.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
