Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
FSLA Classification: Non-exempt
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Location: On-Site (Chesterfield, MO)
Summary / Objective:
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for assisting the HR team by completing various HR-related duties as assigned by the HR Manager. Duties are performed according to determined instructions and prescribed by established routines and procedures. This role is the first point of contact for the Human Resources office.
This is a full time, Monday through Friday position. Hours may vary.
Essential Functions:
- Create birthday and anniversary slides for TV in the lobby as well as additional slides for upcoming events
- Complete pre-onboarding and post-onboarding tasks
- Assist HR Generalist with new-hire orientation
- Maintain employee files, HR documents, and databases
- Own the work anniversary and rewards programs
- Complete monthly I9 audits
- Assist in employee offboarding
- Set appointments and arrange meetings
- Assist in completion of company trainings and performance reviews
- Assist with company events, appreciation weeks, or wellness activities
- Tracking and ordering of supplies
Required Education & Experience:
A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; however, a minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience may be accepted, or a minimum of 5 years of progressive administrative experience.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
Basic understanding of Human Resources such as compliance, confidentiality, personnel file maintenance, and workplace policies.

Must be flexible to meet the needs of employees and HR team
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
