We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and sometimes commercial buildings.
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Perform construction plumbing tasks including remodeling projects and new installations.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
Weld pipe sections as necessary for specific installations or repairs.
Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and handymen to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Basic math skills for measurement and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Valid plumbing license or certification is preferred.
