Overview:
We are seeking a talented Labor & Employment Attorney with 4-7 years of litigation experience to join our fast-paced and collaborative legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation and counseling, with the ability to handle complex cases and provide strategic, solutions-oriented advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage employment litigation matters, including class actions involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.
Represent clients before administrative agencies, including the EEOC and California Civil Rights Department (formerly DFEH).
Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
Advise clients on federal and California employment law compliance, including leave laws, wage/hour regulations, and workplace accommodations.
Provide guidance on labor relations, workplace policies, and internal investigations.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in California (active, in good standing).
4-7 years of employment litigation experience ; consideration given to more experienced attorneys.
Proven experience with trials, arbitrations, and high-stakes employment disputes.
Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws, including ADA, FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, and wage/hour statutes.
Demonstrated expertise in client counseling and labor relations.
Skills & Certifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) - Accredited Law School
California Bar License - Active, in good standing
Employment Litigation Experience (4-7 years)
Knowledge of Federal Employment Law
Knowledge of California Employment Law
