Survey Party Chief
$60,000 Starting Annual Salary
Survey Party Chief Position available with a Professional Surveying and Engineering firm.
Absolutely must be a self-starter, highly-motivated and ready to hit the ground running. Candidate must have working knowledge utilizing GPS, Robotic Total Station and TDS data collection software. Please provide references with resume.
_Responsibilities:_
Party-Chief will be working within the firms Residential Group and the work will primarily be House layout, Boundary, Topographical and As-Built Surveys.
Party-Chief will be outfitted with a Robotic Total Station and a GPS unit to perform work.
Company Vehicle and gas card will be provided.
_Skills & Experience:_
A minimum of 3 years field survey experience required. _(required)_
Ability to operate a Robotic Total Station and RTK GPS. _(desired, but will train the right candidate)_
Familiarity with TDS data collection. _(desired, but will train the right candidate)_
Candidate should have knowledge to handle most survey-related tasks in the field including translating and rotating with data collector. _(desired, but will train the right candidate)_
Experience in reading and understanding deeds and plats. _(required)_
Experience in recovery of boundary evidence in the field. _(required)_
Ability to collect as-built and topographic data, provide sketches and work with survey technicians to develop superior mapping products. _(required)_
_Additional Requirements:_
Must understand the importance of the deliverable and have a track record of ownership with regards to all projects and assignments and be a team player. _(required)_
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in order to operate company vehicle.
