ABOUT US:
We are a growing nationwide forward-thinking law firm established in 2012 with a vibrant culture. We are looking for a Litigation Attorney who is eager to dive into a variety of cases and make an impact. In this key role, you'll be providing crucial support and working with a team of talented attorneys while working with top-tier clients, including secured creditors, banks, investors, and foreclosure trustees. You'll have the chance to work on both transactional and litigation matters, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced and exciting legal environment.
What You'll Be Doing (AKA Where You'll Shine):
Represent clients with respect to assigned matters including but not limited to referrals relating non-routine litigation, replevins, and title/ transactional matters
Appear in court and argue motion necessary to completion of both routine and contested foreclosure, eviction, title disputes, collection, and replevin matters
Draft, review and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. in furtherance of active litigation files
Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status
Analyze loan files, title reports and research and analyze case law and provide advice and recommendations to clients
Manage case load of contested matters on behalf of residential and commercial mortgage lenders and other secured creditors
Utilize case management system and client sites to properly update and document the status of each account
Step into a key role where your litigation skills will truly make an impact. You'll be the go-to advocate for our clients-trusted, respected, and empowered to drive results. Here's how you'll bring the heat:
Take the lead on a variety of complex matters-including non-routine litigation, replevins, title disputes, and transactional cases-representing major lenders, mortgage servicers, investors, and other secured creditors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred : Creditor's rights law experience
5-7 years of legal experience
Previous experience with mortgage default/collections legal work and foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial properties is a plus
Admitted to Practice in Washington
Admitted to Practice in other states a plus
Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research
Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision
Excellent leadership skills
Excellent communication and organization abilities
