Muscogee Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, technical individual to the position of Low Voltage Technician. This position will be within our office in Okmulgee for one of our in-house departments. This will be under our Muscogee Asset Protection Division. The Asset Protection/ Security Services Division of MAP provides the sales, service and installation of Fire Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control Systems to customers in the Gaming, Education, Medical, Law Enforcement, Private, Commercial and Federal Marketplace. Pay is depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Low Voltage Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:

Knowledge & Skills:

1. Performs service/installation of access control, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television systems, and other various security related systems.

2. Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs as necessary.

3. Perform upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality utilization.

4. Perform computer program entry as required to add CCTV cameras, access control and intrusion alarm systems as needed.

5. Prepare documentation for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information.

6. Responsible for reading and understanding technical drawings, assigned project documentation and work orders including scope of work and determine if additional information is needed.

7. On-call and after-hours emergency service call availability.

8. Exhibit effective service skills by consistent communication with co-workers, management, and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction experience.

9. Perform other duties as assigned, including attending training classes when offered.

10. Ability to install, service, troubleshoot and program CCTV and access control systems.

11. Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.

12. Maintain accurate truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.

Position Requirements:

1. Oklahoma License - Preference in the following Burglar Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Sales.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in this industry.

3. Knowledgeable of the "Oklahoma Alarm and Locksmith Industry Program" regulations.

4. Must be able to read and understand drawings, and blueprints.

5. Must have a working and technical knowledge of computer software and applications.

6. Competent experience in Access Control systems and/or CCTV

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

8. Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.

9. Experience in low voltage systems or willingness to learn

10. Detail oriented

11. Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.

12. Must be able complete and pass extensive background investigations, and pre - employment drug screening.

13. Must have felony free background .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
