Locum Radiologist Mammography
Seeking a Locum Mammography Radiologist for an assignment starting March 21, 2026, with an initial 3 6 month term and the option to extend based on ongoing needs.

Group practice transitioning to an employed model
Schedule & Practice Setting
Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
No call and no weekends
Mix of onsite hospital work and remote reading
Ability to perform diagnostic reads and breast biopsies
High-volume, very busy department
Clinical Environment
Trauma Level I facility
Full complement of support staff
Patient population primarily adolescents through geriatrics (rare pediatric cases)
Technology
EMR and systems: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS
Credentialing

Credentialing and application fees are not reimbursed
Qualifications & Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR)
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging highly preferred
Proficiency in breast imaging procedures including US- and stereotactic-guided biopsies, aspirations, and localizations
Valid or eligible Connecticut medical license
DEA registration or eligibility
Current BLS certification (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)
Experience in high-volume, integrated health system environments
Prior experience with hybrid onsite/remote workflow models preferred
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and collaborative, patient-centered care
NPDB self-query required at time of presentation (pulled within the same month)
