Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated NC Programmer to join our Aerospace manufacturing team, focusing primarily on production support. This role involves programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing CNC machining processes for aero-structure components in Titanium, PH Steels, and various Aluminum alloys. Potential to expand to new product development.
Role and Responsibilities
Provide CNC programming support and troubleshooting during production shifts.
Program and modify 5-axis CNC machining operations utilizing CATIA V5 R32, Vericut 9.5.2, and Austin NC.
Analyze machining issues, recommend improvements, and assist operators to maintain productivity and quality.
Identify opportunities for process optimization to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Attend Department and Company Meetings.
Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Proficiency with CATIA V5 R32, Vericut 9.5.2, and Austin NC.
Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining processes.
Experience with Aerospace structure machining in materials including Titanium, PH Steels, and Aluminum alloys.
Ability to troubleshoot NC programs and provide real-time support on production issues.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma/GED.
1-2 years of previous experience, preferred.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Organized, focused, and results-oriented.
Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel.
Able to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, other inspection media, customer specifications and general procedures and government regulation.
