Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active South Carolina medical license
South Carolina Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
DEA that can remain permanently registered in South Carolina
Comfortable with:
Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections
Independent practice in a rural facility
Provide outpatient OB/GYN clinic coverage 2-3 days per week
Carry 24/7 second-call pager coverage
Respond to pager notifications and report onsite when required
Manage labor and delivery coverage (average 1 delivery/day)
See 20-25 clinic patients per day on average
Collaborate with midwives providing first call
Document care accurately in Epic EMR
Follow hospital clinical protocols and patient safety standards
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Clinic coverage required 2-3 days per week

Monday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM blocks, or
Split coverage, with weekday clinic + pager call and separate weekend coverage
Multiple providers may be utilized to ensure full coverage.
