Paralegal

A recognized edcuatiional organization in Illinois is actively seeking a new Contracts Specialist to join their growing team. In this role, the Contract Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and processing hotel contracts, including rate agreements, service agreements, and preferred supplier agreements.

This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least one day a week (Wednesdays are mandatory).

Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate hotel contracts, including rate agreements, service agreements, and preferred supplier agreements
Ensure compliance with company requirements and maintain accurate contract records in the contract management system (Malbek)
Act as a liaison with the travel team to address contract-related issues and ensure smooth operations
Assist in resolving contract disputes or performance issues
Support the Procurement team with contract-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of Contract Management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Hospitality, Finance, or a related field
Familiarity with Contract Management Systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Hospitality industry regulations and Contract practices
Working knowledge of Malbek
