Summary: Alliance Community Bank is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Part-Time Teller. This position is responsible for meeting the needs of our customers by providing friendly, professional, and accurate service. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Customer Service - Properly greet and assist customers and staff. Answer incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
Teller Transactions - Accurately complete teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing in a timely manner.
Balancing - Balance the assigned cashbox several times throughout the day to ensure accuracy of transactions.
Sales - Proactively cross-sell bank products and services based on conversations with customers. Refer business to loan officers and wealth management financial advisors when appropriate.
Position Type: This is a part-time, non-exempt permanent position. Work days vary throughout the week. Working every other Saturday morning is required. Hours may vary based on staffing needs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
Ability to read, listen, understand, and communicate information and ideas both orally and in writing. Legible handwriting is imperative.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks.
A valid driver's license as occasional travel may be required.
Due to the nature of this role, a criminal background check and credit check will be conducted prior to employment.
