Small law firm seeking a full-time Personal Injury Litigation Attorney. We need someone with a strong background in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution. This includes driving matters forward, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, handling discovery, attending hearings, and representing clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials, if necessary. This is a full-time, in-office position for an attorney who is passionate about litigation and thrives in a small firm environment where initiative, accountability, and versatility are expected.

Responsibilities:

Independently manage a litigation caseload

Draft and argue motions

Attend depositions, court appearance, and mediations

Oversee case strategy and client communication with minimal supervision

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff

Collaborate with legal support staff to move cases forward efficiently

Prepare cases for trial and represent clients at trial, if necessary

Ownership of assigned cases, including responsibility for filings, follow-up, and compliance

Willingness to handle administrative work as needed (standard in small firm practice)

Strict adherence to office hours

Qualifications/Required Skills:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona

Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience preferred

Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Compensation: $120,000 annual salary / DOE
