Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to patent law, family law, personal injury law, immigration law, and estate planning. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills, the ability to write compelling legal documents, and a passion for litigating cases effectively on behalf of clients.
Duties
Represent clients in legal proceedings and litigation across multiple areas of law.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive case management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations that impact client cases.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations as required.
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in litigation with a focus on areas such as patent law, family law, personal injury law, immigration law, or estate planning is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for effective advocacy.
Experience in legal administrative tasks is a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
