• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 10 patients/day
• Rounding: Included (floor work only)
• Case Mix: Inpatient cardiology consults only; no ICU

• No. of Beds in Department: Part of 1078-bed hospital
• Trauma Level: Adult Level IV
• EMR System: Cerner
• Specialty Backup Available: NP/PA support
• Support Staff Available: NP's, PA's

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: 60 days
• Additional Notes: Clean background required; pre-application required immediately upon offer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active WV license/IMLC (client willing to license IMLC only)
• Board: Board Certification required
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Other Qualifications: Must have clean background; comfort with inpatient cardiology consults

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inpatient cardiology consults only
• Perform cardiograms and nuclear stress tests
• Collaborate with NP and PA support staff
• Manage adult patient population in a Level IV trauma facility
• Conduct floor work; no ICU responsibilities
