The Strategy & Transformation, Program Manager (Vice President) will play a key role in leading large-scale transformation and remediation programs within a commercial and investment banking environment. This role requires engaging with stakeholders across multiple business divisions and functional areas to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, driving end-to-end program delivery, and ensuring sustainable outcomes. The position will focus heavily on regulatory remediation, regulatory defense programs, and organizational change, working closely with risk and technology teams while providing governance, oversight, and critical thinking to support transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives and portfolios of programs.
Define stakeholders, scope, timing, resource requirements, and deliverables for assigned programs.
Engage with stakeholders across business units to ensure alignment, target state agreement, and ownership.
Implement standardized templates, tools, and communication channels to drive transparency and consistency.
Mobilize subject matter experts throughout the organization to contribute as needed.
Monitor delivery progress, assess outcomes, and adjust plans or timelines to ensure completeness and sustainability.
Lead high-priority remediation and transformation programs, including organizational design, process improvement, and technology implementation.
Promote coordination between program workstreams and ensure alignment with overarching objectives.
Partner with product and process owners to inform program goals and outcomes.
Share impact assessments and expected outcomes to encourage stakeholder buy-in.
Establish and manage structured transformation teams with clear roles and responsibilities.
Conduct program reviews, ensuring projects are accurately reflected in reporting systems with timely, relevant data for senior management.
Assist in the creation of project artifacts (charters, business cases, governance materials, etc.) to support effective oversight and execution.

Qualifications and Skills

5+ years of leadership experience in Project Management, Change Management, or a related area within a financial institution or management consultancy.
Undergraduate degree required; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
Proven experience overseeing project or change governance in a large, diversified financial institution or consulting firm.
Strong ability to engage senior management and maintain effective cross-functional partnerships.
Knowledge of commercial and investment banking structures, regulatory frameworks, product offerings, operations, and human capital strategy.
Expertise in designing and implementing governance structures that support complex transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ability to prioritize multiple objectives effectively.
Strong relationship management, collaboration, and influencing skills.
Experience developing and implementing project/change management standards, governance procedures, and reporting practices.
