EMR USA, a global leader in sustainable materials management, is seeking a strategic and driven Regional Director of Nonferrous to lead the Eastern Region's nonferrous operations. This role is critical to the growth and profitability of one of our most important business segments. This role will be based out of the Camden, NJ office with regional travel. Annual pay is $180 - 200k/yr.

About the Role:

As the Regional Director of Nonferrous, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of EMR's nonferrous business across the Eastern Region. Your primary focus will be to drive volume, profitability, and sustainable growth through supplier relationships, purchasing strategies, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a regional nonferrous purchasing strategy aligned with EMR's national goals.

Drive profitability by analyzing performance metrics and making data-driven adjustments.

Cultivate new supplier relationships and ensure sourcing of high-quality, profitable material.

Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to the region's team of buyers.

Recruit, train, and develop new nonferrous procurement staff.

Partner with Operations to align purchasing with market expectations and package requirements.

Represent EMR material to consumers and maintain relationships with procurement, quality, and logistics stakeholders.

Identify growth opportunities including new customer segments, products, and acquisitions.

Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets in line with corporate strategy.

Collaborate with the US Central Commercial team to share procurement and pricing intelligence.

What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

3-5 years of leadership experience in the scrap metal industry, with a focus on nonferrous materials.

Strong understanding of nonferrous grading, processing, packaging, and logistics.

Skills & Abilities:

Proven leadership and account management skills.

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Ability to analyze and act on nonferrous pricing and market trends.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.

Work Environment & Travel:

Primarily office-based in Camden, NJ with regular visits to regional facilities.

Travel within the Eastern Region required (must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle).

Occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be necessary.

Salary $180 - 200k/yr
