Overview
Millar Legal is seeking a highly organized, proactive and seasoned litigation paralegal (with no less than 5 years of litigation paralegal experience) to support the attorneys of the law firm. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with an exceptional writing ability who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
Timely and pleasant communications with our clients, the court, and opposing counsel.
Understand the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure and court orders.
Understand financial statements, profit and loss statements, and other complex financial documents.
Efficient preparation of clear, persuasive court filings, including financial declarations, declarations, motions to enforce, petitions to modify, and discovery requests and responses.
Requirements
No less than 5 years of proven experience in a litigation paralegal role is required, with family law experience preferred.
Strong research and writing ability required.
High level of computer literacy with experience in Google Suite applications (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
Proficiency researching case law and statutory law is a plus but not mandatory.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
