We have an immediate opening for an experienced Service Plumber/Journeyman to join our successful, family-owned and family-oriented business. The ideal candidate must be customer focused, provide an outstanding customer experience, work independently and be a team player. We are looking for an experienced plumber to install, maintain and repair residential and commercial sanitation units, water and gas supply lines, and associated fixtures and appliances in residential, commercial and industrial structures.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain and repair residential and commercial sanitation units, water and gas supply lines, and associated fixtures and appliances in residential, commercial and industrial structures.
Ability to review blueprints and building codes.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Complete plumbing operations for the business on an independent basis under the direction of the Master Plumber and ensure all work is completed to meet code requirements.
Strong work ethic and drive to perform work with integrity.
Possess a strong customer service mindset.
Good communication skills including understanding customer expectations, as well as clear and concise communication with dispatch and office.
A quality approach to work with the ability to recognize potential issues and proactively manage for quick resolution.
Positive mindset, self motivated, and professional.
Follow company protocol in ordering parts and/or plumbing supplies; assist in maintaining stock in warehouse.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
5 years (preferred) of experience in plumbing maintenance and repairs.
Plumbing License to work in Nebraska (Preferred).
Ability to handle physical workload.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Dependable, disciplined, respectful, and organized.
Willing to obtain additional training to grow in this position.
Ability to pass a criminal and driving background checks
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 175 pounds
Ability to climb stairs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods of time.
