Position Purpose
The Vice President of Stovall Companies purpose is to execute innovational leadership to empower people to achieve operational excellence. This position provides strategic and operational oversight across all business units, including feedyard operations, farm and ranch management, project management, procurement, Ag Technology, renewable Ag systems, and premium beef production. This role is responsible for developing and implementing measurable systems that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and organizational culture. The Vice President works closely with the President to ensure Stovall Companies is a workplace of choice and a leader in the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Align day-to-day operations of business units to meet company goals.
Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable progress toward the achievement of business objectives.
Implement and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments.
Drive the adoption of technology and continuous improvement practices to remain an industry leader.
Team Development and Culture
Execute innovative and servant leadership; cultivate a values-based, high-performance culture.
Conduct effective team meetings and foster collaboration across business units.
Coach, mentor, and develop employees at all levels, including seasonal and front-line team members.
Maintain excellence in hiring, training, and employee performance.
Strategic Initiatives and Financial Oversight
Collaborate with the President to establish strategic goals and long-term growth plans.
Develop and manage timely budgets in partnership with the President and the CFO.
Implement forward-thinking commodity procurement and inventory management strategies that are aligned with company scale and standards.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and relationships.
Implement and utilize systems that reflect accurate and timely data for optimum decision-making and reporting.
Community and Industry Engagement
Build relationships and systems with local colleges and agricultural programs to develop a talent pipeline.
Represent Stovall Companies professionally within the industry and community.

Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with industry software.
Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in feedyard or agricultural operations.
Proven track record of implementing operational systems and delivering measurable results.
Knowledge of relevant agricultural and environmental regulations
