MSAD60 is looking for a certified special education teacher to become an integral part of a special education team that provides academic, functional, and behavioral programming to students in grades 8-12 at the Mary Hurd Academy in North Berwick, Maine. This teaching position provides a math curriculum to small groups of students. The position is responsible for case-management duties for 5-7 students. This position is also responsible for supporting students by designing and attending extended learning opportunities in and around the surrounding communities. A typical day will include: teaching math curriculum three times a day in 50 minute academic blocks; supporting student skill development in regulation and coping strategies; participation in extended learning opportunities; supporting students as they process intense emotions.

Pay: $51,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
