IDEA Law Group, LLC is 100% women owned, operated, and controlled multistate law firm with a robust creditor's rights practice. This position requires an attorney licensed in California and is a hybrid position.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Creditors' Rights Attorney licensed in California with a minimum of 3 years of practice in key areas including:
Judicial and non-judicial foreclosures
Vehicle recovery, including impounds and replevins
Unlawful detainer / evictions
Bankruptcy proceedings (Ch. 7, 11, and 13) on behalf of creditors
Real estate title curative work
Litigation involving secured transactions, lien enforcement, and related disputes
Qualifications:
Active California Bar membership in good standing
At least 3 years of experience in creditors' rights and related litigation
Strong understanding of applicable state and federal laws
Courtroom experience, including drafting pleadings, motions, and appearing in hearings
Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision and still able to work with a team
Excellent legal writing and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Preferred Experience:
Representation of institutional lenders or loan servicers
Familiarity with title and lien priority issues
Comfort with technology and legal case management platforms
