Summary
Established West Coast Firm headquartered in Orange County seeks a business litigation attorney with 3-8 years of experience with a focus on Labor and Employment matters. The candidate will represent clients on sophisticated complex litigation matters that generally arise from the construction industry. Ideal candidates will be strong litigators with experience handling their own caseloads and the ability to develop and implement successful litigation strategies to achieve the client's goals.

Responsibilities/Duties
Prepare for and attend trials
Take depositions of witnesses and experts
Attend hearings
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery and briefs
Analyze facts of the case, develop and implement litigation strategy
Work collaboratively with firm partners and legal staff
Research legal issues as necessary to address claims and implement strategy
Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal processes and options
Qualifications/Requirements
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
3-8 Years of business litigation experience
Business Litigation and/or Labor and Employment experience is required
Ability to drive their own caseload with limited supervision
Must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to work directly with clients, firm partners and legal staff in a positive and collaborative manner
Exceptional organizational skills and strong self-motivator with high attention to detail
Excellent time and deadline management skills in a fast-paced environment, able to juggle multiple projects and files, and re-prioritize work quickly and efficiently
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
Must be able to uphold the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and exercise good judgment on day-to-day decisions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
