Banking Operations Clerk/Admin Assistant- Part Time

This position is one of great variety. The successful candidate will provide support to all aspects of the operations department within the bank. The following is not all-inclusive of the duties and requirements.

DUTIES

Maintain files, records, documents in an orderly and accessible fashion.

Serve as general customer service by helping to answer phone calls and greeting visitors.

Assist with data entry, general customer inquiries, and compiling reports where needed.

Assist with processing, organizing and logging the mail

Assisting Retail and Operations support staff with daily functions

Balancing ATM

Vault

Coin Machine

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIRMENTS

Previous experience working in an office setting is preferred

Excellent computer skills including MS Office Products, Excel and Word as well as data entry is necessary for success in this role.

Effective written and verbal communication skills

A strong desire to help customers and coworkers

Excellent attendance record with a high level of productivity, good work habits and commitment to performing tasks efficiently and accurately while serving the community with a positive attitude.

Must be able to follow procedures and instruction.

Professional Experience (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

1. Ability to work well with others.

2. Must have good communication skills both orally and in writing.

3. Must have good organizational skills.

4. Must have effective time management skills.

5. Must be able to type and use calculator.

Education

1. High School Diploma.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. In addition to the typical requirements of standing, walking/moving, sitting, bending, talking, hearing, and seeing, the employee must regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and keyboards and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
