Job Purpose and Scope
The Store Planning CAD Drafter is responsible for producing accurate and detailed plans, elevations, and sections for store planning projects.
Working in a collaborative team environment, this role involves utilizing CAD software to create drawings that adhere to company standards. The drafter will also assist in project documentation and maintain organized records of all drafting work. With a focus on precision and teamwork, this position requires strong technical skills, effective communication and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Essential Job Functions
Understanding of CAD software and drafting techniques.
Familiarity with architectural drafting principles and standards.
Proficiency in using CAD software for producing detailed drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to adapt to new software and technologies as needed.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to company standards.
Ability to conduct site visits and accurately document field conditions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet procurement deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Gmail, with the ability to navigate and utilize these tools effectively.
Strong analytical skills with effective communication and organizational abilities.
Attention to detail, problem-solving and multitasking capabilities.
Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, adapting to changing priorities.
Ability to create and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
Customer service-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement.
