Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Concrete Boom Pump Manager to lead operations across multiple plant and job site locations. You will be responsible for scheduling, dispatching, personnel supervision, safety compliance, and fleet performance of boom pump trucks (32m-63m) used in concrete placement. This is a hands-on, field and office leadership role that requires deep industry experience and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily scheduling and dispatch of boom pumps and operators
Lead and manage a team of pump operators across multiple job sites
Oversee maintenance and inspections of all pumping equipment
Collaborate with contractors, site supervisors, and plant managers
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and ACPA standards
Conduct job site visits to ensure proper pump placement and setup
Track and manage operator hours, equipment usage, and maintenance logs
Provide field support and troubleshoot issues in real time
Promote and enforce a safety-first culture with daily and weekly safety checks
Analyze and improve operational efficiency and equipment utilization
Qualifications:
5+ years of concrete pump experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role
Strong knowledge of boom pump operation (32m-63m), maintenance, and safety
Previous experience dispatching or managing multiple crews and sites
Experience working in high-rise, coastal, or hurricane-resistant construction (preferred)
ACPA Certification (preferred)
CDL Class B (preferred but not required)
OSHA 30 (required within 90 days if not already held)
Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance procedures
Skills:
Leadership and personnel management
Mechanical knowledge of concrete pumping equipment
Dispatching, scheduling, and logistics planning
Excellent communication with field and office teams
Familiarity with GPS, dispatching tools, and maintenance tracking systems
Strong safety mindset and problem-solving ability
Physical Requirements:
Able to walk, climb, and inspect construction sites
Lift up to 75 lbs as needed
Comfortable working outdoors in Florida's weather conditions
