Overview
We are Hubbaloo in beautiful Flat Rock, opened by our sister restaurant Hubba Hubba Smokehouse in October of 2024! We are seeking a few dedicated and enthusiastic folks to join our team- we are looking for one full-time and two part-time front of house employees, one line cook with part-full time availability, and a Sous Chef. We are open Monday through Saturday, 8am-2pm- evenings and Sundays you are guaranteed off. We have created a welcoming atmosphere for our staff and guests in our new breakfast and lunch spot and our ideal new team members will have a passion for community, great food, and exceptional service.
Front of House and Back of House part-full time positions start at $15-17 an hour based on skill and experience plus tip share. Currently tip share is coming out to around $5 per hour.
Sous chef salary is negotiable and will be based on skill and experience- $55,000-$65,000 annual salary.
Front of House responsibilities will include: greeting and assisting customers with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations when needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
Line cook responsibilities will include food prep, knowledge of food safety practices and regulations, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, and excellent communication.
Sous Chef position
An excellent opportunity available for a Sous Chef that is looking for creativity and the opportunity to advance into the Executive Chef position within 6 months. Nights and Sundays off guaranteed with hours averaging out to between 48 and 55 hours. We close for a nice holiday break in December. We are a breakfast/lunch restaurant with an elevated menu, focusing on local ingredients and everything being scratch made. The restaurant is located in Rainbow Row and works closely with Hubba Hubba Smokehouse to include delicious smoked meats and produce into the menu. Full creativity on weekly features and with menu changes.
