General Farm Worker

Job Description: General Farm Employees

This position encompasses all aspects of farming and a wide variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

Repair farm equipment, to include:
keep machinery in good working order
conduct regular inspections
make needed repairs
providing supervisor with list of repair or replacement parts required.

Field work to include:
operate crop machinery
maintain crop related equipment (i.e. irrigators)

Corn dryer and bin operation

Farm Maintenance
snow removal
tree/brush removal

Special tasks/projects as assigned Requirements:
Previous farm experience (3 years minimum)
Valid driver's license
Ability to follow directions
Able to work as a member of a teamMust be in good physical condition to perform prolonged or repetitive standing, sitting, lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling

Experience operating current large farm equipment.
License for spraying operations a plus.
Knowledge of Arc/Tig/Plasma welding equipment
Basic knowledge of electrical maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
