Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair various plumbing issues. This role requires hands-on experience and a solid understanding of plumbing principles, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for water supply lines and drainage systems.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
Proven experience in plumbing or related fields such as construction plumbing or maintenance person services.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues effectively.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing tasks.
Experience reading blueprints and schematics is preferred.
Knowledge of heating systems is a plus.
