Summary
As a Kitchen Team Member at Horizon Health's Harding Place facility, you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious meals that enhance the well-being of our residents. This position is essential in supporting our mission of providing dignified care while ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen.
Assist in menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and supplies.
Participate in training sessions on food handling and safety protocols.
Assist resident caregivers as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and residents.
ServSafe certification a plus
