Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.
Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
Help maintain inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Work as part of a team to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly.

Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Familiarity with culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
A passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning is highly desirable.
Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role is a plus.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
